Building the investor education, developer pipeline, and communications infrastructure for one of the first SEC-regulated real estate equity crowdfunding platforms — founded on the premise of democratizing real estate investment for community-driven projects.
Joining as a founding team member, the work required building credibility and trust from scratch in a regulatory - and community -environment that had never been offered this type of investment before.
Making complex SEC-regulated processes legible to everyday investors. Serving as the public face of the platform to developers, investors, and media. Managing a 100+ developer network to support peer learning and localized finance.
The result: $2M+ raised from individual investors, supporting $20M+ in inclusive development projects across the country, and a foundational piece of new investment infrastructure realized.
